Aussie - Quality cost effective credit card options

We opened our doors in 1995 and grew so rapidly that there is now an Aussie Branch in every major city in Australia including every state capital. A lot of our outlets are franchised even though there are a growing number of directly owned outlets.

We bought Wizard Home Loans in 2009 which is another prominent non-bank financial services provider having had a similar portfolio of clients and credit cards. This not only made us one of the largest non-banking financial service providers in Australia but also the best non-bank institutions.

We have competitive rates

When Aussie home loans entered the Australian market we completely stunned our customers with our competitive offers and rates.

So now we offer a single competitive low rate credit card, being the MasterCard, this card is directed at Australian families who are not looking for all the frills, our low rate credit card offers a reasonable annual fee.

Their credit cards have many benefits

Should you be an existing Aussie credit card holder and have one of the following options; an Aussie Classic Low Rate MasterCard or the Aussie Basic Low Rate or the Aussie Platinum Low Rate MasterCard?

Aussie - Their credit cards are cost effective

Their credit cards are sold as low-cost cards, their four offers are sold around the value that they can deliver.

These are offers that are based on a low rate of transfers and balances and another that is based on a low rate of purchases. They do have another offer that is at a lower interest rate on both balances transfers as well as on purchases, but this is for a shorter period of time and then there is a fourth card that offers no annual fee.

They pride themselves on not having an extensive rewards programme meaning rewarding credit card users for using the credit card, they maintain that they are able to pass on any savings to their customers.

They offer three partner benefits which are in conjunction with this credit card:

  • MasterCard Applause - This programme guarantees seating at numerous sporting events and plays, as well as concerts.
  • Discount program – eDine - This program offers lower prices for car hire, restaurants, hotels and attractions all through New Zealand and Australia. Their eDine facility will cost the cardholder $35
  • And last but not least, they offer access to the cut-price Aussie Wine Club and which is operated by Cellarmasters.

Their MasterCard also offers additional security options that include the Aussie CardCover, this is an insurance programme to cover the payment in case of accident or unemployment or even sickness, although it does come with an additional cost and is worked out according to the balance.

Alternatives to Aussie credit cards
